The 520 Programmable Terminal offers a choice of two different LED back lit FSTN graphic LCD displays: 128 x 64 or 240 x 64. The 520 provides flexible communication protocols. It can be connected to practically any computer network via RS232, RS485, Ethernet or Radio Frequency.
It supports up to 8 digital I/Os. Users can select any combination of inputs and outputs to meet specific requirements. The 520 uses one or two NIMH rechargeable batteries to support standalone operation where power failures occur. It supports up two TTL scanners, one slot reader (barcode or magnetic stripe) simultaneously. It has one RS232 and two configurable ports to meet specific requirements (RS232, RS485 or StarNode). The 520 is easy to install and can either be table or wall mounted. It offers outstanding features in a compact and rugged housing suitable for industrial or commercial applications. It can be programmed in "C" or "Basic". Programs are easily downloaded and cloned to other terminals. It has five fully programmable Function Keys, adding to its versatility and ease of operation.
